Mind vs Heart

You Have an Army Behind You Battling the Darkness Ahead of You. You are loved.

Often I’ve had difficulty letting go of the things that don’t serve me, things I know I have to let go of. I hold on to them stubbornly and my action plan usually is the ” no action at all plan”. This is my mind at work. This is the “I put a lot into this” and ” If I sit back and wait, it will fall together”. This is the logic of my mind trying to make sense of what my heart is trying to manifest.

At some point in my life I sent my heart to its room and told it not to come out until it was called. I decided (consciously or not) that my mind would do a fine job of running things and isn’t it amazing how many things don’t hurt when your heart is grounded in its room? Unfortunately a life can’t be run by mind alone, especially one that’s clouded by every substance known to man.

The heart is intuition and love and is connected with the stomach’s ability to seemingly know things that the mind can’t, hence the saying ” always trust your gut”. How many times has your stomach warned you of an outcome and you ignored it and things turned out great? How many times did you end up saying ” I knew in my heart that wouldn’t work out?”

Trauma can’t be healed by the mind alone, it must work together with the heart as a team. There must be balance in all things.

Having balance doesn’t mean all things will turn out as desired, but remember that we are here to experience and even the sad and terrible things are part of that experience. Find your balance and things will be as they should. My bad experiences have forever been the road to the happy things in my life. Lacking balance between your mind and your heart leads to the path of self sabotage and poor decision making. It stifles development and prevents healing where healing must be attained.

The above is my opinion and perspective derived from my personal experiences. I’m not a professional nor am I qualified to coach anyone on how to live their life. Up until recently the only profession I should have acquired a degree in is screwing things up.

Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. You are all Light Warriors and Light Workers and I have love and gratitude in my heart for each and every one of you. Bless you all πŸ™πŸ₯²
